Our Policy Information

Pets

Unfortunately we don’t allow pets, although service animals are allowed.

Children

The Waterfront Inn caters to adults, although we do allow children over the age of 8.  All rooms have 1 King bed, but if the Puget Sound Suite is available, that is well suited for a family of 4-6 (with sofa sleeper).

Quiet Hours

Our quiet hours are from 10pm – 8am.

Cancellation Policy

As a boutique inn, cancellations have a large impact on our business, and as such we have a 3 day no refund, no change cancellation policy.  When booking through our website, reservations can be cancelled prior to 3pm, 3 days before your your check-in date.  After that your entire stay becomes non refundable.  We do offer non-refundable reservations on some third party booking sites.  Those non-refundable rates are non-refundable from the time of booking, although if you made a mistake and want to cancel a non refundable booking on the same day that you made the reservation, please send us an email and we will cancel your reservation for a full refund.

Accessibility

The Waterfront Inn is an expanded home that was built in 1918.  It has been updated and is in a wonderful location, with incredible views, but it was not designed with accessibility in mind.  The home is below the street level and there is a steep driveway to walk down if you park on the street level.  Regardless of where you park, there will be stairs to navigate.  The Seattle and Tacoma rooms (or combined Puget Sound Suite) only require a few steps to the room, but the waterfront rooms and the Rainier Room all require a flight of stairs to access the rooms.

Parking

We have limited parking spaces (6 total) and each room is entitled to use 1 of the spaces.  There are 4 marked parking spaces at the street level and 2 parking spaces in the lower level, which are reached by a steep driveway.  This driveway is challenging to navigate for some people, so please be aware of this.  The Waterfront Rooms, Rainier Room and the pier and dock require going down the steep driveway, so this may be problematic for guests with mobility challenges. If you have any concerns, please call us.

When parking in #5 in front of the garage, please pull as far to your left as possible to leave room for owner and manager cars to your right.  If you have a large vehicle, parking spot #1 is usually best when it is available.
